Description : Andretti Winery was established in 1996 and takes its inspiration from the distinguished career of its namesake and founder, Mario Andretti, widely regarded as the greatest race car driver of all time. When Mario retired after nearly five decades of competition, a commemorative wine was produced in his honor in 1994. That event sparked an interest in owning a winery. To accomplish this goal he teamed up with his former associate, Joseph E. Antonini, who as President, Chairman and CEO of Kmart, was one of Mario's major sponsors. Together they formed Andretti Wine Group (AWG Limited), a publicly traded stock company, to acquire property and build Andretti Winery, with Joe serving as Chairman and Mario as Vice Chairman.  

Today, Andretti Winery produces 40,000 cases per year, and boasts a wine club over 4,000 members strong.  If you are interested in joining the Andretti wine club, click here.  The Andretti Winery is open to the public for tastings from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM daily, and tours are by appointment only.
