The month of May has three different annual events. They are the Napa Home and Garden show, Napa Valley Walk for Hope to Cure Breast cancer and the Annual Walk to D’Feet ALS. The Napa Home and Garden show features the latest technology and ideas for the home designing and improvement, remodeling, outdoor living as well as landscaping.
June
June features a series of events of different kinds like: Valley men who Cook, Chef’s Market, Auction Napa Valley, Calistoga Farmer’s Market, and St. Helena’s Farmer’s Market. Apart from these, the Napa Valley also hosts Music in the park in the month of June. This event is held during the Friday afternoons at Veterans Memorial park, Napa. “The Valley men who cook” is a father’s day events in which renowned and amateur chefs from the valley participate in. it is one of the most popular events in the Napa County.
July
The fourth of July has marked with celebrations as well as fire works and the Silverado parade. The Napa County fair is also held during this month. The Napa Valley Classic, Wine Country Film Festival and Home Wine Makers classics are also hosted in July. The Napa County fair is complete with excitement and entertainment events like exhibits, music, food, parade, carnival rides and several other events.
August
The Music in the Vineyards is celebrated in the month of August. The Chef’s market and the Crush (harvest) are also in this month. The Music in the Vineyards is Chamber Music Festival which is held in wineries all through the valley.
September
The Napa River Festival and the Napa Wine and Crafts Faire are both held in the month of September. On Saturday’s the Calistoga farmer’s market and the St. Helena farmers market are in full form on Friday’s. Apart from these, the three days Fabulous Fifties Bash is also held in the month of September. The Harvest (crush) festival is the time to actually experience the wine making in the valley. One can see gondolas full of grapes traveling in the Valley from the roadsides.
October
October has four annual events to its credit. The harvest (crush) is one of them. The other three are: Yountville Days festival and Parade, Halloween Celebrations and the St. Helena’s farmers market. The Yountville Days Festival and Parade begins at California Veterans home and is then run across the entire Yountville. The parade is followed by a festival till evening complete with food drinks and entertainment. The Halloween Parade is especially for the children of all ages and it is free for the participants.
November
The Napa Valley Wine Festival, Yountville festival of Lights, Carols in the Cave, Gifts ‘n Tyme Holiday faire, Pre-Holiday crafts faire and the Napa Holiday Parade are the main events in the month of November. The Napa valley Wine Festival is held at the Dry Creek, Alexander and Russian River Valleys. The Spirits of St. Helena Cemetery Tour takes people to the tour of the civil war grave. People attend this event in period costumes.
December
The Carols in the Caves and the Merchants’ Holiday Open house are the events of December. The Carols in the Cave is an event Presented by David Auerbach who is a multi instrumentalist.
