There are many galleries located in all over the Napa County. Ras Galleries, situated in Yountville, focuses in American Art Glass. It was established in late 1990and it represents more than 200 artists.

Fabulous glass made items like sculptures, bowls, and vases are available here which are made by different techniques like lampworking, mouth blown and fused glass. Ras Galleries is unique and a must visit place for travelers, due to the mix of glass along with the fine art painting provided by its authentic ceramic artist Blue Heron Gallery is located in Yountville. This gallery is the place of unique work by renounced Wine Country artists. You can enjoy a variety of sculptures, paintings, ceramic works, photography that will give you a clear picture of divine Napa Valley.

COPIA: The American Center for Wine, Food & the Arts was a museum opened on 18^th November and its gates were closed on 21^st November 2008. It was also a house of education dedicated to new discovery, knowing, and celebration of food, wine, and arts of the American culture. Artists of the Valley Gallery is situated in the First Street in Napa Valley, represents over 25 artists. Napa Valley Art Association is the co-sponsor of this gallery.

For around 52 years the Napa Valley Art Association is an organization for local artists and students. Scholarships are given to deserving students in the art education of Napa Valley College and also Napa Valley High Schools from the revenue gained from the membership of artists and also from the items sold from the Artists of the Valley Gallery.

Gallery 1870 provides authentic creations of artists of the gallery. The only thing you have to do is to select your favorite subject and artist and then you will be totally amazed of the outcome. Caldwell Snyder Gallery exhibits the 21^st century European and American drawing, sculpture, and paintings created by post-war and budding contemporary artists of America. Situated in the eastern foothills of this county the Jessel Gallery is the place of excellent beauty.

Famous watercolorist Jessel Miller founded it. All visitors receive warm welcome and offered tea or wine as they move around the space. Ca'Toga Galleria D'Arte was founded by Italian artist Carlo Marchiori. It is located in the north of Calistoga in Napa County. He makes different items made with ceramic such as ceramic tiles, ceramic plates etc.

Gordon Huether is a Napa County artist, was born in Rochester, in the year 1959. He creates public projects, fine art and residential commissions for over 25 years His work has been showcased in different galleries and museums throughout the country. His work has achieved a wide acceptance from people all over the world. He mainly focuses in the intellectual and emotional aspects of things that one can portray by an artistic creation.

Description : Jessel Miller was born in a small town in Northern Ontario, Canada in 1949. Her Father was a country doctor/artist and Mom was the festive singer, poet and entertainer in the family. Jessel was an extremely shy and withdrawn child. (hard to believe when you meet her now!) A portrait artist for 15 years, Jessel had her first one-person show at the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art in 1980 with paintings of famous Bay Area Personalities like Maya Angelou and Herb Caen. Napa had always reminded Jessel of her small town roots, so in 1984 she picked up her life and opened the Jessel Gallery in Napa, California.

Description : Oxbow School was founded in 1998 by Ann Hatch, who originated the idea of a semester program dedicated to the education of high school students through the arts, and Robert and Margrit Mondavi, who shared Ann’s vision and saw Oxbow as an asset to the Napa Valley community and culture they were so influential in shaping and building. Ann Hatch and the Mondavis acquired property and initiated the first phase of the campus construction on Third Street in Napa, and hired Stephen Thomas, then the chair of the art department at The Urban School in San Francisco, to be its founding director. Oxbow was one of a kind when it was founded, and remains so to this day. In 2004, a second phase of building was completed adding a dining hall, two faculty residences, and the distinctive landscaping that defines the campus as it exists today.

Description : Welcome to my website. My name is Jim Pryts, and in my past life I was a professional photographer. For about 34 years I plied my trade in and around the northern California city of Napa. Napa is the seat of the county that shares the same name, and is about an hours drive north of San Francisco. The Napa Valley is best known for its many wineries, but I remember it as the place where I spent 45 years of my life, with or without the the wine. I no longer live in the Napa Valley. Nowadays, my wife, Marlene and I are in Riverside, California after spending about 3 years in northern Oregon. After an all too brief stay in the Portland area, we craigslisted ourselves a good job down south in Riverside. We love it here. We love the palm trees, the hot weather, and the ways around having to use the freeways that we have discovered. Someday in the future we'll retire, I'll grow a garden, or lose myself in some other idle pastime with my banjo on my knee, and Marlene will raise miniature Nubian goats, or whatever, and spin a lot.
