A portrait artist for 15 years, Jessel had her first one-person show at the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art in 1980 with paintings of famous Bay Area Personalities like Maya Angelou and Herb Caen. Napa had always reminded Jessel of her small town roots, so in 1984 she picked up her life and opened the Jessel Gallery in Napa, California.

Description : If you are interested in adding pizzazz, that is liveliness, spirituality or peppiness, to your home, church or business, with a stained glass window or Tiffany Replica Lamp, you've come to the right place. My name is Whitney LeBlanc and I was introduced to the art of stained glass fabrication in 1960 while an Assistant Professor at Antioch College in Yellow Springs, Ohio. I was an apprentice to Robert Metcalf, a stained glass artiste of church windows, who became my mentor and friend. In a moment of divine inspiration I promised, "When I retire I am going to do stained glass windows." And so I did. After retiring from a career as a television director in Hollywood, I moved to the Napa Valley and opened a studio for designing Stained Glass Windows, Tiffany Lamps and writing books - all of which are presented here for your consideration.

Jim Pryts

Location : Napa CA
Phone: 707-299-9570
Description : Welcome to my website. My name is Jim Pryts, and in my past life I was a professional photographer. For about 34 years I plied my trade in and around the northern California city of Napa. Napa is the seat of the county that shares the same name, and is about an hours drive north of San Francisco. The Napa Valley is best known for its many wineries, but I remember it as the place where I spent 45 years of my life, with or without the the wine. I no longer live in the Napa Valley. Nowadays, my wife, Marlene and I are in Riverside, California after spending about 3 years in northern Oregon. After an all too brief stay in the Portland area, we craigslisted ourselves a good job down south in Riverside. We love it here. We love the palm trees, the hot weather, and the ways around having to use the freeways that we have discovered. Someday in the future we'll retire, I'll grow a garden, or lose myself in some other idle pastime with my banjo on my knee, and Marlene will raise miniature Nubian goats, or whatever, and spin a lot.
